The Archdeacon oversees the canonical requirements of formation, deployment, and supervision, support, and pastoral care of those ordained to the diaconate as well as those preparing for ordination to the diaconate; provides information to congregations about the diaconate or feel called to raise up a deacon for the diocese. She is also the Director of the School of Ministry. This is a part-time volunteer position. No set office hours. |
